La of Opar

by Nicholas Elias

La of Opar
is an exploration of the classic femme-fatale from Edgar Rice Burroughs’ much loved Tarzan novels. The character always intrigued me as an alternative love interest for Tarzan, and in many ways the two are a perfect match.
Beyond La’s lust for the titular character, there is a tragic element of unrequited love, of longing. But don’t let your empathy get the better of you – she is still the deadliest Queen of the jungle!
