The Eleionomae were marsh naiads in ancient Greek mythology. Living in marshes and wetlands, they often misled travelers with their illusions of loved ones.

"My goal for every illustration is to use the character's eyes to really engage the viewer. That is, by far, my favorite challenge. My work is of the horror and fantasy genre, often with a dark romanticism undertone."

Ashly is a freelance illustrator and fine artist working primarily with chalk pastels on BFK Rives printmaking paper.
